Aging PopulationGrowing demographic pressures require smarter, more efficient care solutions. According to Age UK there are now 22 million people aged over 50 in England, equivalent to two in five of the total population and projected to increase further.
Resource ConstraintsAdult social care services are struggling hugely to meet demand with overstretched budgets and understaffed workforces. The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) estimate that between 400,000 and 500,000 people have been waiting for an assessment, review, direct payment or care package at any one time since 2021.
Changing NeedsModern care demands have evolved beyond traditional reactive approaches to emphasise proactive, technology enabled solutions that promote independence while integrating preventative health monitoring, personalised support, and community engagement to maintain quality of life for an aging population.
Transform your care delivery from reactive to proactive and preventative with intelligent monitoring that spots subtle changes before they become critical issues, Andi kickstarts the proactive care processes by sharing relevant information with the right people in the service user’s care network, at the right time.
What is a Monitoring Rule?Monitoring rules consist of a set of criteria that must either be met, or not met – they are what drive the creation of alarms and alerts and decide who will be notified.
Turn Data into Action
Beyond Simple AlertsCombine multiple data points from multiple peripherals to create sophisticated, context-aware monitoring.
Flexible Alert RoutingDirect alerts to family, friends, or care teams as well as communicating with ARC platforms.
Early Warning SystemSpot potential issues before they become emergencies, so that care becomes proactive and preventative.
Levels of Monitoring Rules
System Level RulesPre-built rules for common scenarios - ready to use instantly. For example "Unusual night activity".
User Level RulesCustomised rules tailored to individual needs. For example “Room temperature below 17°C" or "Missed medication time"

Meet Sarah
Sarah is a 68-year-old with type 2 diabetes. Her care team set up the monitoring rules to keep track of the following:
One day, Sarah hadn't checked her blood glucose reading or used the kitchen by the usual time of 11am. The monitoring rule set up to track regular kitchen activity and glucose reading created an alert which notified Sarah's daughter by text, who then called to check in. She found Sarah feeling unwell and confused - early signs of hypoglycaemia. Thanks to this early intervention, Sarah received prompt care, avoiding a potential emergency.
Wirral Council used Andi to prevent hospital admission, watch the video below!
This is where you can find everything you need to know about all the peripherals currently connected to Andi. It is already extensive and always growing!
